First in Flight is a rap group from Charlotte, NC. They are composed of four of the most talented and unique artist you’ll find in the US! J. Sealey, Pradigy, Terry & Young B are the four members of “First in Flight”, all of whom were born and raised in Charlotte, NC. First in Flight is in reference to the North Carolina State Motto which represents the state in which the first motorized air flight took place. They hope to be one of the elite hip-hop groups from North Carolina to make it major and be known around the world!

Each member possesses their own unique rap delivery and charisma. Pradigy is known for spitting a hot 16 filled with wit, metaphors, and similes! Young B is known for spitting faster than the fastest rappers with his adrenaline filled verses! Terry is known for being the motivator and raps with the swagga to back it up! J. Sealey brings it home with the Queen City flow that makes you think he knows ya! In addition to their rapping skills, Pradigy and J. Sealey are the music producers of First in Flight. Both are known for their infectious melodies and hard hitting musical compositions! Dope beat, Dope lyrics, what more can ya’ll want?!

The group was officially started in Fall 2006 at J. Sealey’s studio. After noticing the talent level of the individuals in the room, the members decide to combine into one of the most unforgettable hip hop groups around! That very night, they began working on their debut album “1903”. 1903 was the year of the first motorized flight, it’s only fitting the debut First in Flight album be titled the same.

It’s our mission to show you our vision of North Carolina hip hop! First in Flight or “FiF” is a force to be reckoned with! Their dream is to lead NC into the hip hop spotlight and show the world that “Norf Kack” is more than just sports and churches.
