   BRIAN TEE

  DESCRIPTION

BRIAN TEE aggressively and passionately pursues his goals, a path that he was clearly meant to follow. Shortly, he will be strongly noticed as the lead antagonist, D.K. the Drift King, in the third installment of THE FAST AND THE FURIOUS: TOKYO DRIFT. Tee has devoted himself to this character and with director Justin Lin; Tee has shaped D.K. differently than most stereotypical villains. The way he constantly finds new challenges has taught him how to successfully exceed limits in order to create fantastic original work.

Tee’s film career has catapulted with memorable roles in FUN WITH DICK & JANE, WE WERE SOLDIERS, opposite Mel Gibson; AUSTIN POWERS: GOLDMEMBER; STARSHIP TROOPERS II; AMERICAN DREAM; AND REMEMBER PEARL HARBOR.

Tee was born in Okinawa, Japan and moved to the United States at the age of two. Upon graduating from High School as the ASB president in Hacienda Heights, Tee, at the urging of his parents, enrolled in Cal State Fullerton, but not as a pre-law major, like his parents expected. Lost in finding his life’s path, Tee always felt a connection to the arts. Taking only General Ed classes, Tee had a unit left and fell upon a class, "Acting for Non Majors" which changed the course of his life. Along with this course, Tee randomly came across a third grade paper which asked “what he wanted to be when he grew up?” He wrote about “how he wanted to be an actor…” Clearly, there was no turning back, and Tee went in pursuit of a school with a strong theatre arts program, subsequently entering the Dramatic Arts Acting program at the University of California, Berkeley.

Off camera, Tee enjoys spending as much time as he can with family and friends. He also has a strong interest in sports (he was a star football captain in high school but also loves basketball, & baseball) and working out.
